I love chess, though I’m no master, and play only against the computer these days. I still have my wooden chess set I got as a Christmas present when I was a kid. And I’ve dreamed of designing my own set some day. Here are some inspirational examples.

The Maryhill Art Museum in Washington state has the largest collection of chess sets and chess pieces that I know of. It is jaw dropping to see. Worth at least a google. Thanks for your post I enjoyed it!
